FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the area like? Brant Beach is a family area where the beach is enjoyed by all and it is quiet in the evening other than the sound of the ocean.

Is there a food market nearby? The closest location would be Defiglio's located at 24th and Long Beach Blvd., which is only a few minutes away.

Are there amusements in the area for children? There is an excellent amusement park in Beach Haven called Fantasy Island located at 320 W. 7th Street. Along Long Beach Blvd. there are also miniature golf courses, video rental stores and a movie theater.

Are any restaurants nearby? Within walking distance is DaddyO's restaurant completely with a liquor store.   Within a few minutes drive there are many others to choose from.

Are you right on the ocean? Yes! Please refer to the pictures on our website that show the properties are oceanfront.

How old are the beach houses? They were built in the late sixties but are completely modernized with large Anderson windows facing the ocean. Appliances are mostly new and in top working condition. There are full sized washer, dryer and dishwasher. The house exteriors were painted last year and each year all walls and trim are repainted.

Do you provide a blender and icemaker? Yes, we furnish both in addition to a fully equipped kitchen with full set of dishes and glassware for 12.

Do you allow Pets?  We do and our policy and charges are as follows:

DOG RULES & CHARGES – 2012

·      LIMITED TO 2 DOGS PER UNIT.  A CHARGE APPLIES FOR EACH DOG.

·      NO VISITOR DOGS ALLOWED.

·      DOGS UNDER 30 LBS. $150.00/WEEK ($200.00/Week – June 25 to August 20)

·      DOGS OVER 30 LBS.  $200.00/WEEK ($250.00/Week – June 25 to August 20)

·      GENTLE WELL BEHAVED FAMILY DOGS ONLY.

·      ALSO A $200 REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT IS NEEDED. 

·      NEVER ANY BARKING THAT CAN DISTURB OTHER GUESTS. 

·      NOTE:  DOGS CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.  

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU MAY BE ASKED TO REMOVE YOUR DOG FROM THE PREMISES IF YOUR DOG BECOMES AN ANNOYANCE TO OUR OTHER GUESTS.  EXCESSIVE BARKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.  THERE ARE SEVERAL KENNELS LOCATED NEARBY.   PLEASE CHECK THE LOCAL PHONE BOOK. 

We have been to beach houses that were not clean in the past. How would you rate your houses? You will find them to be excellent! Each week they are completely cleaned even though the guests usually leave them in perfect condition when they leave. 

Is there easy access to the beach? Yes, there is a dune walk for either house to use.

Do you have air conditioning?  Yes.  It is included from June 30 to Sept 1.  Check price page for off season charges.

When is the best time to reserve our beach house? Each year the prime weeks are being booked earlier. Most in season weeks are taken by January. October and November reservations will usually insure your choice.

What size are your beds? Each unit has a queen-size bed in the master bedroom, which looks out on the ocean. There are two rear bedrooms. Each has two single beds. Some units also have queen size sofa beds in the living room.

Do you rent for weekends? We occasionally rent weekends in the off season. Please call for availability.

What should we bring? Please bring all linens and towels, soaps and paper goods.

How early can we check in? As check out time is 10 am, time is needed to ready the units for our next guests. We will do our best to accommodate by giving access to the refrigerators as early 2 pm. Most people will go to the beach or grab a bite to eat and you will usually be ready by 2:30 to 3 pm.

Is there off street parking? Yes. We provide parking permits for 2 cars for each unit. You should keep the permit in your windshield when parked. We can advise additional parking locations if room for more than 2 cars are needed.

Do you have ocean side outside decks? The decks are very large and face the ocean. They run the entire width of the house and are complete with a gas grill, two padded lounge chairs, six upright chairs and large table. Umbrellas are provided for the upper decks tables.
